About Sara Douglas

Sara Douglas serves as the Front Office Coordinator at Ohio Recovery Collective, bringing five years of administrative experience, including three years in recovery-focused settings. Her passion for the recovery field is deeply personal, shaped by witnessing the impact addiction can have on individuals and their families. These experiences have given Sara a genuine compassion for supporting others as they work toward healing, recovery, and a new way of life.

In her role, Sara helps ensure the day-to-day operations of Ohio Recovery Collective run smoothly and efficiently. She assists with client intake, scheduling, paperwork, communication with clients and families, staff support, and overall office organization. Compassionate, detail-oriented, and approachable, Sara truly enjoys working with people and helping wherever she is needed.

Sara understands that walking through the door and asking for help can be one of the most difficult steps in a person’s recovery journey. She approaches every client and family with warmth, respect, compassion, and understanding, striving to make each person feel comfortable, valued, and welcomed from the very beginning. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is being able to support others and witness hope begin to return to their lives.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family and creating memories together. She is also a proud Ohio State football fan.

At Ohio Recovery Collective, Sara’s goal is for every person who walks through the door to feel welcomed, supported, and reminded that they are not alone. She hopes each person feels part of a community that believes in them, supports their journey, and believes in the possibility of lasting recovery.

Paying for treatment

We work with most major insurance carriers

Coverage for addiction treatment depends on the individual plan, not only the insurer — two people with the same company can have very different benefits. We verify your specific policy for free and tell you plainly what it covers.
