Rachel Shorac

Rachel is a Registered Medical Assistant and is also credentialed through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. She brings experience in public health, community health, and behavioral health, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the many factors that can impact an individual’s overall well-being and recovery.

With more than seven years in recovery, Rachel has developed a deep passion for helping individuals who are struggling with substance use and mental health challenges. Her own personal experiences have helped shape both who she is and the work she feels called to do. She understands that recovery is about much more than stopping substance use — it is an opportunity to heal, rebuild, and create a life filled with purpose, connection, and hope.

Rachel approaches others with compassion, understanding, and respect, meeting people where they are while encouraging them to recognize what is possible for their future. She believes that every person deserves to feel heard, supported, and valued throughout their recovery journey.

Her higher power, recovery, and family are the foundation of her life and continue to guide the way she supports and connects with others each day.
